By downloading, installing, or using FreshFoodFacts ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of the App, including users who create an account.

FreshFoodFacts provides daily nutrition facts, nutrient information, and food data for educational and informational purposes only. The content in the App is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet or health.

You may create an account to access personalised features such as streaks, bookmarks, and ratings. You are responsible for: • Keeping your account credentials secure • All activity that occurs under your account • Providing accurate information when registering We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

All content in the App — including nutrition facts, nutrient descriptions, food data, and AI-generated text — is owned by FreshFoodFacts or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any App content without prior written permission.

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date nutrition information. Nutrient data is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database. Daily facts are AI-generated and reviewed, but may contain errors. FreshFoodFacts makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content in the App.

You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App's systems • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest App content • Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful code

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreshFoodFacts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.
